How do I know how much to insure my contents for?
When you are applying for your home insurance quote you will be asked a number of questions to determine your premium, such as how much contents cover you need. One way to decide how much coverage you will need is to calculate the total value of your personal belongings. For items which you think may be of high value, you should have these professionally valued to ensure you are getting appropriate coverage and are not under-insuring your property. Once you have calculated the total value of your belongings, this will inform you as to how much you should insure your contents for.
Can I extend my contents cover?

At an additional cost, you can extend your contents policy to cover things such as accidental damage.
